For Families St John’s is committed to a philosophy of passing on the Christian faith through the family. We seek to equip parents to pass on the Christian faith to their children
The Christian home is the vehicle most often used by God to pass on the faith to the next generation. This is nothing new. Martin Luther wrote the Small Catechism to help parents pass on the basics of the Christian faith to their children. A simple resources that you have to help you in this task is “The Faith Five”. Download "The Faith Five" brochure here. Another is in our Worship Bulletin, where there is a For Families section. This is designed to encourage parents to pass on the Christian faith to their children.
